1 YEAR WITHOUT PSORIASIS

If someone had told me just over a year ago that I wouldn’t have psoriasis or that I’d be swimming in a public pool  or that I’d be part of a team running a website about psoriasis, I’d have told them that they were just plain crazy.

But here it is–my first anniversary psoriasis-free. It has been a steep learning curve to be sure. With many positive experiences. I got to know Flintchick on the NPF site. She started the whole K2D3 part of the protocol. Without her input, none of this would ever have happened.

Then there was “thepain” (aka Headless…finally known as Charlie) who hijacked my thread and who I smacked up side of the head and who then became my partner in crime on this website. And after almost a year of working together–Skyping every Friday night for at least a couple of hours, I have come to love this guy from the bottom of my heart. He’s one of the finest people I’ve ever met–that’s for sure. And when I heard what he’s gone through with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, it makes my suffering seem like a walk in the park.

And then Michael came on board and created this website–and did such a darn fine job (particularly dealing with me who is tech phobic…I’d rather eat a spider than try to learn something new on the computer)!

Anyway, I celebrated tonight at a French restaurant called La Cigale. They were celebrating their third year anniversary. There was live music and fine food. Good wine. Good times. And I wore a dress–a short one–something else I haven’t done for decades.

So remember, if it can happen for me and Charlie, it can happen for you too!!! And it can!
